Would you like to join us as a new Business Developer?

Aremis Belgium is looking for a dynamic, autonomous, customer-oriented Business Developer with commercial flair. As a Business Developer, you will help us prospect and acquire new clients and projects that will support our future growth. You report to the Head of Sales and work closely with your colleagues, Account Managers, the General Manager, and all Practice Leaders.

This has generated projects related to the creation and design of a suitable work environment, the "experience" offered to employees, the continued digitization of the workplace environment, and more.

Overall, corporate real estate is undergoing significant changes: the impact of technology and innovation, structural telecommuting, hybrid work, mobility, connectivity, data usage, cost and space efficiency, flexible work environments, etc.

What does joining our team as a Business Developer mean?

Essentially, acquiring new clients, including:

  • Establishing initial contacts with new targets and prospects;
  • Proactively prospecting new targets/segments/markets and maintaining a network of relationships on a daily basis as a "lead generator";
  • Organizing meetings where you will present AREMIS and its solutions;
  • Inspiring clients and prospects;
  • Preparing offers, tracking deadlines, and defending offers with your colleagues in the expertise area;
  • Doing everything possible to win the contract;
  • Ensuring the follow-up of accounts that have become clients, i.e., establishing and maintaining a trusting relationship with clients, identifying new opportunities (up- or cross-selling), and managing annual contracts if necessary (software subscriptions/maintenance contracts/renewals/indexations...).

For both acquiring new clients and managing existing clients:

  • Promoting AREMIS services in the market (events, LinkedIn, networking) to become or remain top of mind;
  • Being able to understand the needs of prospects and clients, defining our field of work synthetically with them, and having targeted discussions in the presence of our operational experts;
  • In the case of more complex tenders, being able to start from scratch in certain cases to respond to the very targeted and personalized needs of our prospect or client;
  • Having basic experience in public procurement;
  • Pricing calculations, based on a basic knowledge of Excel;
  • You will be supervised by the Sales Manager and will report to them.

🎓 Skills Required?

The role is based on commercial interest, curiosity, professionalism, and perseverance:

  • Dynamic and enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable;
  • Good listening skills and the ability to translate "customer needs," daring to ask and answer (both by phone and in person);
  • Autonomous and at the same time happy to work in a team;
  • Dutch-speaking or native language, with a good knowledge of French and English (oral and written).

The following experiences and skills are very useful:

  • Organized and with a good sense of administration. Working with customer relationship management (CRM) tools, mastering standard MS Office tools;
  • Good communicator to act as a central point of contact in the relationship between clients and AREMIS.

Additional Strengths

  • Interest and understanding of AREMIS knowledge domains;
  • Experience in the field of corporate real estate, workplaces (design/construction), facility management, or management is an asset.
