In order to strengthen the team, we are recruiting a facilities and relocation consultant for long-term projects.
⚙ What does it mean to join our team as a Facilities & Move Consultant?
You will be responsible for supporting and advising a number of clients in the organisation and management of facilities services and the organisation of removals projects. You will be a team player and work closely with senior facilities consultants and engineers within your team or at the client's premises.
Your future role will mainly involve the following core activities:
- Day-to-day management of the property portfolio and facilities services (soft and hard)
- Planning and coordinating major relocation projects and managing associated changes in facilities services
- Preparing facilities budgets
- Translating the needs of the client organisation into optimal facilities services.
🎓 What kind of profile are you looking for?
As a Facilties & Move consultant, you will succeed because you possess the following skills:
Basic skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Facility Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years' experience as a facility manager
- Minimum experience of organising 2 medium to large-scale relocation projects is essential.
- Perfect knowledge of Dutch (spoken and written) and thorough knowledge of French and English.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, as you will be working independently on several projects at once.
- Proactive, service-oriented attitude
- You are diplomatic and a team player
- You are willing to develop and follow the latest trends in installations and technologies and to network in the world of installations at trade fairs and events.
- You translate customer needs into a pragmatic, forward-looking approach.
- Safety and ergonomics are part of your working method.
- You will be able to work independently from our Brussels office (20%), at home (20%) and at your customers' premises (60%), mainly in the north of Belgium.
- MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel hold no secrets for you.
This is an asset:
- You are capable of drawing up a business case for an installation strategy.
- You have a good command of project planning in MS Project
- You have knowledge and experience of facilities services (cleaning, catering, etc.).
- You have technical knowledge of buildings (e.g. HVAC) and can provide technical assistance on the technical impact of office renovations.
- You will be able to interact with clients at a strategic level (board of directors).
